Inclusive Leadership Retreat | Korea International School Jeju (KISJ)

It was a pleasure working with the leadership team at Korea International School, Jeju Campus (KISJ) during a full-day retreat focused on intercultural competency and belonging.

Through thoughtful dialogue and collaborative reflection, we explored how school leaders foster safe and inclusive communities grounded in dignity and respect, where belonging supports academic excellence, character development, and the well-being of students and adults. We ended the day by translating retreat insights into concrete actions through a SWOT analysis and the identification of strategic priorities for the academic year.

Beyond the retreat, I enjoyed the natural beauty of Jeju Island and a wonderful dinner with the leadership team featuring Jeju's famous black pork barbecue. A memorable introduction to this beautiful part of Korea!

My appreciation to the KISJ leadership team for their engagement and commitment to this important work. And a special thanks to Patrick Carroll and Victoria Hoult for the invitation.
