NAIS Global Webinar Series

Beyond Enrollment: Supporting International Students and Families at Independent Schools

International students represent a significant and growing population across NAIS member schools, with particularly high concentrations at boarding schools. However, specific strategies and resources to support international students and families after enrollment remain limited.

My research and three decades of work span independent schools in the United States and international schools in more than 50 countries. Both settings shape the insights presented in this webinar to support international constituents in US independent schools.

On September 24 at 11:00 AM ET, I will facilitate a NAIS conversation exploring four areas:

  • Academics: how international students experience the classroom

  • Well-being: emotional and social support across the school year

  • Family: partnership with parents and guardians

  • Faculty and staff: teaching and advising practices

Participants receive strategies grounded in research that schools can immediately apply.

NAIS members may register here.
